Start by holding the top of the head towards you. You will now Sc a circle onto the surface of the top of the head in between the eyes. Use R2 of the head as your guide. The Mr of the head should be on top and should easily guide you! Mark the circle with stitch markers or needles, insert your hook into one of the stitches, and pull your new yarn through. Sc 12 into a circle and move on to round 2.

R2. Hdc around (12)

R3. (Bo, Sl St x2) x4 (12

Fo, weave in your ends.

OPTIONAL: Using a yarn needle and scrap yarn, you can embroider colorful gems onto the Bo stitches for some extra fun and glam.

Circle Shape Outline

You can leave the crown round and open, or you can choose to flatten the crown. To do this, use a scrap piece of yarn the same color as your crown and your yarn needle. Thread the yarn through the base of the crown back and forth tightly to flatten it. Weave in ends well.
